Stalybridge is easily accessible by train from Manchester and Yorkshire, by bus from Manchester and Ashton-under-Lyne where trams from Manchester terminate. There is car parking space in the street close to the church.

The course is designed primarily to help congregations without full time professional leadership to meet their rites of passage needs by training lay worship leaders to conduct rites of passage.
On the final Saturday participants will be expected to make a short verbal presentation demonstrating how they would conduct one of the Rites of Passage. On completion of this task they will receive a Local Leadership Strategy Group Foundation Step Rites of Passage Certificate.
